A complex TIR lens with ascylindral, elliptical & free-form faces for optoelectronic devices for HD imaging applications. The TIR Lens are molded to profile-shrinkage-compensated optical inserts, which derives from their design profile prescriptions, by DOT's proprietary software.

Molded Free-Form Prism Lens for HD Display

A high-definition prism with 3 free-form faces for the display of image.

Molded to perfection using 3 pieces of profile-shrinkage-compensated optical insert derived from their design profiles prescriptions by our proprietary software.

The pre-molding-process rectified inserts, machined by our "diamond cut steel" technology, enables the mold tool to be qualified in the first mold-test run, thereby shortening its lead time for manufacturing of this free-form prism substantially.
